Hamilton is in no hurry to start negotiations with Mercedes
The Briton praises his team for allowing him to engage in various forms of activity outside of F1. Lewis Hamilton is in no hurry to start negotiating a new deal with Mercedes.The six-time world champion's contract with the German team expires at the end of the current season. The Briton does not have many competitive options, especially since even Ferrari is convinced that at this stage the priority is to extend the contract with Sebastian Vettel.

As a team, we have always been clear about our plans. We often communicated our thoughts to each other, so no one would go mad because of thoughts or conversations that were happening somewhere else.
Referring to the upcoming negotiations, Hamilton said: I don't know if there will be any differences. As a rule, the same details are taken into account. I was very lucky to get involved with this team. People always talk about the freedom that characterizes this team. It's strange that they talk about it in a negative context, which is not the case at all.
